PROMOTION RULES
1. Promotion of the child is decided on the marks obtained throughout the year combined with the marks of the final examination.
2. The minimum pass percentage is 33% in every subject.
3. Re-test or supplementary examination will be given in two subjects (up to IX std.) while for std. XI, it will be in one subject only. Single chance will be available for the same.
4. For getting supplementary the child must secure atleast 20% of the total marks of the particular subject otherwise no supplementary will be given.
5. A grace of maximum of 6% of the total marks of a subject will be given in final examination only. Such a grace can be given in maximum of two subjects. In such a case 6% grace marks will be divided in any ratio in the two subjects. No grace marks will be given in supplementary exam.
6. No re-test will be given to any child failing to appear
in any exam on medical grounds or otherwise. However, his result will be prepared on the basis of the examination taken by pupil.
7. A Child must have appeared either in half yearly or annual examination to be considered for promotion. 8. Promotions are decided with teacher concerned and due consideration is given to each student. However, the results are final & can not be reconsidered.
9. Answer scripts of the final examination will not be shown to the students or parents in any case. However,parents can apply for re-totalling of the answer script within 5 days of the declaration of the result. Only re- totalling or any question unchecked will be considered. No other request will be entertained. A nominal fee of Rs. 50/- per subject will be charged for the same.
10. The child has to pass separately in practical and theory wherever practical examination is conducted, failing which the child will be considered to have failed in that subject.
The school reserves the right to add or amend any of these rules and the same shall be binding on the parents and the pupils.
